Nancy Brennan

Nancy Brennan is the Executive Vice President, Legal at TransAlta Corporation. 

In her role, Nancy oversees TransAlta’s Legal and Sustainability teams.

Nancy has over 20 years of experience in the energy industry, including exploration and production, as well as midstream sectors. In addition to leading legal functions in Canada and the U.S., Nancy’s executive experience has included developing and leading diverse teams, which include Sustainability, External Relations, Regulatory, Compliance, Land and Communications.  

Nancy’s most recent role was as Senior Vice-President at Keyera Corporation, where she oversaw Sustainability, External Relations and served as General Counsel.
